Elise Alvarado is a Certified Newborn Care Specialist and Certified Postpartum Doula serving families throughout the DFW area. With deep expertise in newborn sleep, feeding, and routine-building, she brings calm and confidence to the families she works with — even in the most exhausting early weeks.

Newborn Intuition specializes in the 0–16 week window — the most demanding stretch for any new parent. Whether you’re expecting your first baby or welcoming multiples, Elise creates a custom plan before she ever arrives at your door.
DFW families typically book 4–8 weeks before their due date. Availability is limited, especially in summer and fall.

A nanny is a long-term childcare solution. A Certified NCS is a trained specialist focused specifically on newborn care, sleep science, and postpartum recovery — typically for the first 0–16 weeks. The expertise and focus is entirely different.
That’s completely normal. We can hold a tentative spot based on your estimated due date and confirm closer to your delivery. Reaching out early is always better — availability goes quickly.
Absolutely. Elise is CPR certified, fully insured, and follows all AAP safe sleep guidelines. Many families find overnight support is actually the safest option — a trained specialist is watching your baby so you can sleep and recover.
